Sustainability

Aware of the importance that the issues of sustainability and corporate responsibility have assumed for its clients and the entire community, Pedersoli has been studying and exploring these aspects since years.

The firm has its own Sustainability Sector Group made of more than 20 professionals, which is able, thanks to its interdisciplinary skills – corporate M&A, private equity, litigation, administrative law, labour law, banking, tax – to offer its clients assistance on all technical-legal aspects in this area.

For example, in relation to the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD), Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy Regulation, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDD) – European measures that focus on ESG factors – clients first need to be assisted in understanding which of these rules are relevant to their specific activities.  For them, the firm then gives full assistance in the work of adapting disclosures and adopting legal models and templates, procedures and business regulations designed to take into account non-financial parameters as well.

Pedersoli pursues its own community investment programme and an ESG Advocacy project aimed at developing initiatives with clients, including training and promotion.

The firm is committed in reducing resource consumption and energy efficiency and is strongly pursuing a project to achieve carbon neutrality, in line with national and global action against climate change.  It uses performance measurement tools and models that put people and merit at the center in an inclusive perspective, combining, also thanks to the use of digital tools, an efficient implementation of work with the enhancement of human capital and the strengthening of the firm’s identity.
